Original Description: Leaving a faith you were born into is not easy. You don’t walk away on a whim, and you don’t leave for worldly gain. It’s something you hold onto deeply, like a sacred relationship that has been part of your entire life.

But when the time comes, and when you begin to see things you can’t unsee, you’re faced with the hardest questions:
Do I ignore what’s right in front of me… or do I stop pretending to be someone I’m not?

That’s when you make the hardest choice.

For me, that choice came with consequences. I faced threats, and even moments of violence. I had to run. I tried to go back more than once, I really did. But once you see something clearly, you can’t unsee it.

This is not a call for hate or violence toward any religion. Even now, I am not in a position where I can safely show my face. That alone says enough.

There has to be a point where we find common ground, where belief remains personal. But when beliefs begin to negatively affect individuals, families, and society, it becomes something we should be able to speak about openly.

This channel exists to support those going through this process, like a kind of emotional first aid. Because I know how hard it is. Most of the time, you are left to figure it out on your own.
